No. The only exception to date is monthly operational funds to Loveland's House of Neighborly Service and Meals on Wheels. These two agencies were important to Helen Erion as a founder of these agencies and a founder of the Erion Foundation. Can we make a presentation to the board? We will consider an organization's desire to give a presentation. However, the board has limited time and prefers to initiate the request for a presentation from organizations of interest within Loveland. Do you make site visits? Yes. Often a single member of the board or a designated family member will be asked to visit an agency and give a report to the board. We will contact you if we want to make a site visit or you may request one by calling our office at 970.667.4549. We have additional information that explains our agency's role. Should we include it with our application? No. We are a small foundation with no paid staff and limited time. We will request additional information if we need it to make our decision. The Erion family has been in the Loveland area since 1956 and the Foundation has been in existence since 1986 – in many cases we are familiar with your agency. What organizations won't you support? We do not support non-501(c)(3) organizations, individuals (trips, scholarships, personal needs), team, religious or political based organizations, fundraising events, debt reduction, private schools, operating revenue and organizations that rely on our support for survival.
