The Erion Foundation supports the betterment of the Loveland community
through funding, advocacy and participation.

Guidelines

Geography

The Foundation makes grants to organizations in Loveland and Northern Colorado. We consider grants to organizations outside of our area only if the grant will have a demonstrated local effect.

501(c)(3)

The Foundation considers applications from non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations including those related to government entities, colleges and universities; all with the aim of making the Loveland and Northern Colorado community a better place to live.

Support Areas

The Foundation supports organizations providing:

Basic Needs - food, clothing, shelter, etc.
Health & Welfare - health care, life skills, etc.
Education - classes, exhibits, early childhood learning, educational programs, etc.
Culture & Community - art exhibits, poetry readings, library programs, local music organizations, etc.

Capital Investment

The Foundation prefers to make a one-time capital investment in plant or equipment. Multi-year commitments, though rare, remain possible and have been used in the past for large projects.

Leverage

We like to join with other grantors, corporate leaders, community organizations, and their boards of directors to accomplish goals and to encourage them to participate in bettering our community. We recognize that in-kind donations and challenge grants represent important tools that encourage broad-based, community support.

Three Years

We like to limit support to any one entity to three years or less. We make occasional commitments to multi-year programs, but prefer to look at each program/capital item request each year.
